However, Maxilite products are more than just car parts and fashion. Maxilite's range is constantly growing and covers a wide variety of vehicle brands. It ranges from thoroughbred Italians such as Alfa Romeo, Autobianchi, Ferrari and Fiat to British Gentelman cars such as Austin, Jaguar, Jensen and Hillman, and from American veterans such as Buick, Cadillac, Ford and Dodge, and from established German brands such as Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche and VW to exotics such as Jensen, Ginetta and Lotus, and long-extinct legends such as Mercury, Plymoth, NSU, Sunbeam and Triumph, or even the racing cars of Formula Super Vau.
THE STORY BEHIND
The success story of Maxilite begins in 2008 in Switzerland: Even after a long search, we could not find the right rims for our Oldladies. The retro rims available on the market from Italy and Great Britain were beautiful, but proved to be flawed. Furthermore, they were not TÜV-certified and thus not registrable. The decision was made: To produce our own retro rims to German quality standards, TÜV-certified and therefore registrable, yet still authentically picking up and reproducing the spirit, finish and style of the original ones.
What started with a handful of models is now a wide range that grows every year, consisting of hundreds of different models for steel and aluminum rims for a wide variety of brands and vehicle types of the last seven decades.
Since 2021, high-quality men's fashion and accessories in classic 60s-70s design have also been available under the Maxilite brand.
